We are excited to announce that Drs. McCoy, Lenz, Saucier, Parnell and Davila have created a new group starting July 1, 2022, called Coastal OBGYN. Our new office is located at 3290 Dauphin Street, Suite 200, just down the street from our current location.
We will still be offering the same services (along with some new ones) and accepting the same insurance plans. The physicians and our Coastal OBGYN staff have worked tirelessly to make this transition as smooth as possible for you, our patients. We truly care about not only your health but also about making your appointments as convenient and stress-free as possible.
We made the decision to start delivering exclusively at USA Health Children’s & Women’s Hospital in Mobile. This decision was made with the safety of our patients and their babies in mind. Children’s & Women’s is one of only a handful of freestanding hospitals in the United States dedicated to the exclusive care of children and women. It is the only hospital in our area offering 24-hour in-house anesthesia services, in-house pediatricians, a high-risk obstetrics program, a pediatric intensive care unit, and a level III neonatal intensive care unit. It is also the only hospital in the area with a 10-bed women’s evaluation center room staffed by board-certified OBGYNs who have years of experience in private practice. Having these physicians in the hospital 24 hours a day for emergencies gives our patients an extra layer of care and protection.
These services and this level of care is why Children’s & Women’s delivers more babies than any other hospital in our region and why we truly feel it is the best and safest hospital for your deliveries. Our new group, Coastal OBGYN, will still be delivering babies for our patients, just at a different hospital.
